Bow thruster failure

Manoeuvring into the berth at Bembridge, the bow thruster stopped working, and was making a banging sound. I initially assumed we had ingested some rope, but it later transpired that the motor had fallen off inside the boat!. We had to order new bolts from Holland. It seems Vetus have since change the attachment system, Two eight inch 6mm bolts is asking for trouble to support the weight of the bow thruster motor!

Close handling without a bow thruster was an interesting learning curve!
