As usual, we boarded the night efore departure. There was an impressive thunderstorm.
On the 27th, we had an uneventful passage to Bembridge wgere we were alongside at 1245 with (as usual) help from the harbour staff. That evenong there was a good cowd of Marchwood members at the supper at Brading Haven YC which was excellent.
The next day was a quiet lay day, and we returned o our mooring by 1550 on the 29th May. Our engine hours are ticking along nicely showing we ar getting good use from Teal, No 416/420 hours.
Trained as Naval Architect. Involved in shipbuilding and shipyard construction/ Worked briefly in aviation. Joined Associated British Ports in 1984 as Business Development Manager. For 10 years until retirement in 2001, Environment Manager at ABP. Has owned several yachts described on this website
