Ebbco plastic sextant – works, but in need of TLC (incl sight reduction tables vols 1 & 3 – Vol 1 out of date, but good enough for learning) You only need Vol2 for southern hemisphere.
This is not a toy. If you are curious about traditional navigation and would like to teach yourself without the expense of a proper sextant (several hundred pounds) this device still has sufficient functionality to help you. I have done sun, moon and planet sights and got passable results. Some of the smoked glasses are damaged, but could be replaced.
